Cut from a hard-wearing technical shell, the WEISE Pioneer Waterproof Jacket adds a confident edge to a wardrobe that needs a standout layer.

Detailing covers a zip front with snap storm flap, a fixed waterproof liner, a removable thermal liner, CE elbow, shoulder and back armour, and chest and rear vents. The removable thermal liner traps warmth and zips away when the weather turns. The sleeves and back are cut for reach, so it moves with you in the riding position. The shell shrugs off wind and light rain and packs down without creasing.

Nothing about it feels rushed, from the collar roll to the way the hem finishes. Seams are reinforced at the stress points so the shape holds wear after wear. It is a versatile mid-weight, comfortable across spring, autumn and milder winter days. Proportions are considered, sitting close through the body without pulling when you move.

The cut is relaxed enough to layer yet trim enough to look deliberate. A cool wash and an occasional re-proofing keep the fabric performing.
