The shell shrugs off wind and light rain and packs down without creasing. The weave holds its shape and resists scuffing through a full season of wear. Hardware and zips are corrosion-resistant and rated for daily use. The fabric is light on the shoulders but dense enough to cut the wind.

Nothing about it feels rushed, from the collar roll to the way the hem finishes. Seams are reinforced at the stress points so the shape holds wear after wear. The panels are cut clean and the stitching is set to hold its line over time. It reads clean from across the room and rewards a closer look up close.

Wear it now with a shirt underneath and later over a heavy knit; it carries both. Follow the care label; most technical shells wash cool and can be re-proofed as needed.
