The weave holds its shape and resists scuffing through a full season of wear. The shell shrugs off wind and light rain and packs down without creasing. Hardware and zips are corrosion-resistant and rated for daily use. The fabric is light on the shoulders but dense enough to cut the wind.

Every closure lands where your hand expects it, which is what makes it easy to live in. Seams are reinforced at the stress points so the shape holds wear after wear. The fit is true to size with just enough room for a mid-layer underneath. Nothing about it feels rushed, from the collar roll to the way the hem finishes.

Wear it now with a shirt underneath and later over a heavy knit; it carries both. Follow the care label; most technical shells wash cool and can be re-proofed as needed.
