The Merlin - Alton Black Leather Jacket is the kind of riding jacket a wardrobe is built around: premium leather, sharp lines, no wasted detail.

It features a full-zip front, CE shoulder and elbow armour, a rear back-protector pocket, cross-stitch quilted shoulder panels, and velcro hem adjustment. A full removable thermal liner with a tartan trim lets it pull on smoothly over knitwear. Quilted shoulder panelling adds surface texture and a touch of extra insulation. The leather is supple from the first wear and eases further as you break it in.

The grain carries a natural, lived-in character that improves the more you wear it. The hide has a real hand to it, with the depth of colour only genuine leather gives. Proportions are considered, sitting close through the body without pulling when you move. The fit is true to size with just enough room for a mid-layer underneath.
