The Merlin - Barton Olive Jacket leans on a waxed-cotton technical shell and a trim, modern cut to give you a riding jacket with staying power.

It is built with a structured collar, a full-zip front, a removable thermal full-body liner, pre-fitted D3O shoulder and elbow protectors, and a back protector pocket. The removable liner traps warmth and comes away when the weather turns. Antique hardware and a tartan trim push the look toward heritage territory. The waterproof and breathable membrane keeps the rain out.

The shell shrugs off wind and light rain and packs down without creasing. It is a versatile mid-weight, comfortable across spring, autumn and milder winter days. The panels are cut clean and the stitching is set to hold its line over time. It reads clean from across the room and rewards a closer look up close.

It slots into an everyday rotation and quickly becomes the piece that finishes the fit. A cool wash and an occasional re-proofing keep the fabric performing.
