Rukka Madagasca-R GORE-TEX Adventure Jacket

The Rukka Madagasca-R is an adventure-touring jacket for men built for year-round use in changeable weather. The shell is abrasion-resistant CORDURA 500D with CORDURA 1500D reinforcement on the shoulders and elbows, and soft neoprene lines the collar. Stretch panels inside the elbows, under the arms and across the back keep the jacket moving with the rider.

The detachable waterproof liner is made from GORE-TEX Performance 3-layer stretch material and can be worn inside the jacket, over it, or on its own as a rain jacket, stowing into its own small bag. Protection comes from Rukka D3O Air XTR shoulder and elbow protectors (EN 1621-1:2012 Level 2) and a Rukka D3O Air XTR All back protector (EN 1621-2:2014 Level 2), with a pocket for an optional D3O CP1 chest protector. Ventilation openings sit on the chest, back, shoulders, sides and sleeves. Adjustment is extensive: snap-fastener width adjusters on the upper and lower arms, velcro hem and cuff adjustment, a side waist belt, a crotch strap and a long connecting zip for trousers. Pockets include two zipped chest pockets, two lower pockets, a large lower-back pocket, a sleeve time-card pocket and two water-resistant pockets on the inner liner.
