Made with a stretch-denim and Kevlar shell, the Merlin - Sherpa D3O Black Jacket balances rugged character with a fit that stays easy to wear every day.

It comes together with a structured collar, a zip front with snap storm flap, D3O shoulder and elbow protectors, a back protector pocket, and a rear ventilation panel. A full sherpa lining in the torso and collar lets it pull on smoothly over knitwear. The Kevlar reinforcement backs the abrasion-prone panels.

The fabric is light on the shoulders but dense enough to cut the wind. The panels are cut clean and the stitching is set to hold its line over time. Nothing about it feels rushed, from the collar roll to the way the hem finishes. Every closure lands where your hand expects it, which is what makes it easy to live in.
