Construction runs to a full-zip front, CE shoulder and elbow armour, a rear back-protector pocket, cross-stitch quilted shoulder panels, and lower and chest pockets plus interior pockets. A full removable thermal liner with a tartan trim lets it pull on smoothly over knitwear. Quilted shoulder panelling adds surface texture and a touch of extra insulation. The matt aniline hide has a soft, natural hand.

The fit is true to size with just enough room for a mid-layer underneath. Seams are reinforced at the stress points so the shape holds wear after wear.
