Description:

Built to be lived in, the Merlin - Edale Olive Jacket sets a waxed-cotton technical shell against clean lines for an everyday riding jacket.

On the body you get a structured collar, a full-zip front, a removable temperature-regulating liner, pre-fitted D3O shoulder and elbow protectors, and four front stud-flap patch pockets. Inside, a fixed cotton lining adds a soft hand and a little warmth. Antique hardware and a tartan trim push the look toward heritage territory. The waterproof and breathable membrane keeps the rain out.

The shell shrugs off wind and light rain and packs down without creasing. Seams are reinforced at the stress points so the shape holds wear after wear. It reads clean from across the room and rewards a closer look up close. Nothing about it feels rushed, from the collar roll to the way the hem finishes.

Wear it now with a shirt underneath and later over a heavy knit; it carries both. Follow the care label; most technical shells wash cool and can be re-proofed as needed.
