The Held Sonic 2 in black is built for one job: keeping a rider cool and protected on hot rides without pretending to do anything else. It skips a waterproof membrane entirely in favour of mesh panels across the front, back and arms, plus dedicated 3D air-mesh sections at the back, so airflow is constant rather than dependent on opening a vent.

Underneath the mesh, AIRGUARD 400D polyamide and polyester construction with polyurethane reinforcement keeps the jacket sturdy despite its light, breathable feel, and stretch panels at the shoulders and elbows let it move freely through a full range of riding positions. A front ACS air-vent zip adds one more way to tune airflow on the move.

Protection isn't sacrificed for ventilation: CE-certified soft protectors sit at the shoulders and elbows, meeting EN 17092-4:2020, with a pocket ready for an optional back protector. Reflective sections, adjustable arms and hips, and Held's Clip-in Technology round out a jacket built specifically for summer riding, best paired with waterproofs for unexpected weather.
