Belstaff Waxed Fieldmasters Jacket

Belstaff's Fieldmaster is made from a proper 6oz waxed cotton, heavy enough to hold its shape and shrug off wind and light rain, and it carries the brand's four patch pockets as a signature, including the slanted chest pocket Belstaff itself calls the "map pocket." A drawstring at the inner waist lets you shape the fit closer to the body, and because the wax finish wears down with use, the jacket is designed to be re-waxed periodically to keep it water and wind repellent for years rather than one season.

Underneath, Belstaff's signature check cotton twill lining lines the body, and the high collar with an adjustable throat latch closes up properly against cold wind. Reinforced panels at the shoulders and elbows extend the jacket's working life in the areas that wear fastest, and corduroy trims the collar, cuffs and hem for a softer finish against the skin. Underarm ventilation keeps it from feeling airless during active wear.
