The sleeves and back are cut for reach, so it moves with you in the riding position. Hardware and zips are corrosion-resistant and rated for daily use. The shell shrugs off wind and light rain and packs down without creasing. The fabric is light on the shoulders but dense enough to cut the wind.

The weave holds its shape and resists scuffing through a full season of wear. The fit is true to size with just enough room for a mid-layer underneath. Nothing about it feels rushed, from the collar roll to the way the hem finishes. The panels are cut clean and the stitching is set to hold its line over time.
